LDS Charities Brings Puppet Show Captivating and Delighting Children in Cambodia as They Learn Good Health and Hygiene Practices.

LDS Charities creates smiles. Great efforts are being made by many organizations including The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to improve the lives and happiness of people in Cambodia.

A notable difference can be seen in communities when they have good health and hygiene practices.

LDSC sponsors a program with "Live for Light Center" from Kampong Chhang Cambodia. They travel to very poor schools and perform a puppet show and a live character presentation depicting germs.  This year LDSC will provide this animated presentation to 25 schools around Cambodia.

Children love to learn as the characters teach how to be clean to avoid sickness.  They are also learning to eat healthy.  The children love interacting with the actors giving the presentation.  There is a question and answer period following to reinforce concepts taught.  Participating children get a bar of soap, which they love! Generations to come will benefit as these children learn and change the existing conditions and habits.
