The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints joins leaders of other faiths February 4, 2016, at Meeting on World Interfaith Harmony.
The theme was “Role of Religion in Social Development in Cambodia.”
H.E. Min Khin, Minister of Cult and Religion addressed those in attendance, speaking about religious harmony, and respecting other’s beliefs. H.E. Min Chandyneth spoke, giving an overview of religion and statistics in Cambodia.
A breakout session took place where groups were formed and discussions took place regarding what each religion had accomplished during 2015 and what goals could be set for 2016.
Lunch was held with friendly interfacing and conversations.
The meeting concluded with an agreement of eleven goals for 2016.
