Church Announces BYU–Pathway Worldwide, a Global Higher-Education Organization

The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced the creation of a global higher-education organization, BYU–Pathway Worldwide (BYU–PW). The institution will have responsibility for all online certificate and degree programs offered by the Church Educational System (CES).

Cambodian Dignitaries Travel to Attend Law and Religion Symposium at Brigham Young University

"Religious Rights in a Pluralistic World," this year's exceptional Symposium, brought together 95 invited delegates, including scholars, jurists, political and civil society leaders, and religious leaders and religion policy makers from 45 countries, including the respected government dignitaries from Cambodia.

Food Delivered to Help Relieve Suffering

Latter-day Saint Charities, an arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, recognized and moved to help relieve the hardship of drought that ravaged rice production in outlying Provinces of Kampong Thom and Svay Rieng, Cambodia. The Church responded and delivered tons of food and supplies for over 1,200 families in December.

‘Light the World’ Initiative Encourages Year-Round Service

Millions of people around the world participated in the “Light the World” initiative during the Christmas season. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints launched the online initiative November 25 on mormon.org to invite people around the world to follow Jesus Christ’s example by serving others.

Cambodian School Students Blessed with Bicycles

Traveling to attend school in the Cambodian Province of Tbong Khmum was made easier for school students, when 500 bicycles were dispersed between two different schools; bicycles provided by LDS Charities, an arm of The Church of Jesus Latter-day Saints.
